IOWA CITY, Iowa - The Iowa football team should be at close to full strength when it faces No. 18 Wisconsin in the Big Ten opener on Saturday at Kinnick Stadium.

Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz seemed optimistic on Tuesday that running back Ivory Kelly-Martin, receiver Ihmir Smith-Marsette and offensive guard Cole Banwart would all play against the Badgers on Saturday.

All three of them missed last Saturday's 38-14 victory over Northern Iowa because of injuries.

"Today is our first real workday, they worked today," Ferentz said. "Hopefully, they don't wake up sore tomorrow. We'll keep our fingers crossed. I think they all have a chance to be ready for the game."

Kelly-Martin started in the season opener against Northern Illinois, but has missed the last two games due to an ankle injury.

Smith-Marsette started the first two games, but then missed the victory over Northern Iowa because of a shoulder injury.

Banwart also started the first two games before missing last Saturday's game because of an undisclosed injury.
