IOWA CITY, Iowa - The Iowa football team’s upcoming recruiting event will go a long way in determining how the rest of its 2019 recruiting class will play out.

Iowa is set to host around 60 recruits mostly from the 2019 class, and a handful from the 2020 and 2021 classes.

The visitor list is headlined by a pair of 2019 Indianapolis natives in four-star receiver David Bell and three-star offensive lineman Justin Britt.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Bell and the 6-foot-4, 282-pound Britt were among the first 2019 prospects to receive scholarship offers from Iowa.

Iowa has had a heavy recruiting presence in Indianapolis in recent years and it signed three players from the area to its 2018 class in receiver Tyrone Tracy and defensive backs D.J. Johnson and Julius Brents.

Iowa will also have two of its three 2019 commits on campus in Norwalk offensive lineman Tyler Endres and Orion, Ill. tight end Logan Lee.

The other commit is Holstein offensive lineman Ezra Miller.
