IOWA CITY, Iowa - Cedar Falls native Jack Campbell became the fifth player to commit to the Iowa football team's 2019 recruiting class on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-4, 210-pound linebacker announced the commitment on Twitter.

Campbell, a three-star prospect according to Rivals, chose Iowa over scholarship offeres from Iowa State and Minnesota.

Iowa also has offensive linemen Ezra Miller, a native of Holstein, Iowa, Tyler Endres, a native of Norwalk, Iowa, Noah Fenske, a native of New Hampton, Iowa and Orion, Ill. tight end Logan Lee in the class.

The football field is not the only place that Campbell's athletic ability shines. He was also a starter on Cedar Falls' recent state championship basketball team.
